‘O Father, Where Art Thou’ is a celebration of our Roots both in Music and Family. A celebration of Fathers past and present and how they have shaped our lives with a Roots music tribute through the sounds of Rhythm & Blues, Country and Rockabilly and all that creates the foundation of music as we now know. Two of Melbourne’s finest come together in this one-off special event. The Rechords who will take you on a journey with original tracks and obscure early covers incorporating traditional Country, Rockabilly, 60’s Vocal groups and occasional ‘pop’ vibes, a straight-up trio sans drums but with powerful harmonies that will warm you up for the Rhythm & Blues twang of Benny & the Flyby Niters beating out the whaling sax and killer guitar licks of the dirtiest of early R&B.
